An accomplished performer, Zooey Deschanel is the vocalist and pianist for the indie band She & Him and has appeared in popular films, including Elf and (500) Days of Summer.  Her keen, highly personal sense of style has made her a favorite among fashion fans. Deschanel’s next film, Your Highness, is out April 8.

Feminine clothes a touch on the girlish side.

 

Describe a time you were happy and what you were wearing.

My wedding. I wore a dress Erin Fetherston designed for me.

 

If you could reinvent yourself, who or what would you be?

A four year-old.

 

Do you think style can be learned, or it’s more innate?

I think there are things you can learn about style but I think personal style is innate.
